Ref has to take into account player and spectator traveling up until around 7pm on the match day, plus he will look at the terracing to see if there is a hazard with ice.

My guess is it will be off purely based on the players traveling, I know it is only Yorkshire but players have to get to pick up points and then ours are traveling from everywhere too so I expect a 9-30 to 10 am postponement

I said to others at the beginning of the week that the game won't go ahead and not totally down to the state of the pitch but due to potential travel issues for the away team.  Can't see many games going ahead this weekend. Travel is going to be the key deciding factor.

Most games in the country will be off this weekend. Almost a total wipe out I reckon.

Can’t believe Spennymoor’s home game hasn’t been called off yet as it is going to be freezing plus snowing on and off today.  They had the pitch covered but appealed for local fans with wheelbarrows and shovels to go in at 10am this morning to clear the snow from the pitch and supporter's areas.  Amazing what length’s they will go to to get a game played when it suits them but I won't forget their excuses not to get to our ground when they didn’t want to play.
United we stand..................

When we were all giving various reasons for it to be off something Roy told me made me go "oh yeah, never thought of that".  ALL pipes are frozen, so no showers, tea urns, toilets etc would have been available like I say, that never entered my head.

Spennymoor get the pitch declared fit for Saturday match ,  and them the league call in off taking into account the conditions for Leamington travelling  .

Well done to the league , but I am sure Spenny will back the decision considering they have had travelling problems in the past . ;)

With all the back-logs I would think they are wishing they had played their game against us, it's coming back to bite them. ;D
