With Stockport County beating Maidenhead on Tuesday night in the FA Trophy it means we're about to lose another Saturday fixture. County will now be in the FA Trophy quarter-final on Saturday 24th February, the day of our scheduled league visit.
And so for the third successive round we have to replace a Saturday trip with a Tuesday night visit. Not the most convenient alternative for both players and supporters, especially given the distances involved to Spennymoor, Brackley and Stockport.
Not too bad for me for the latter as Stockport is only 18 away, but given the disruptive schedule the team has had over the last few weeks, it can't make Craig's job any easier.
