Pilgrims' hopes for 2018
« on: January 01, 2018, 07:07:44 AM »
Happy New Year!

What are people's expectations for BUFC in 2018?
What's the minimum come New Year's 2019 that would constitute a good year for the club, in your humble opinions?

I'd like to build on what we have now, in the hope that brings playoff football this year or more likely next. Stability on and off the field is a must. If we could achieve a serious push next season and it coincided with the building of the new Fortress Boston, I'd like to think we'd all be looking at a club proud of its past, present and future. Short term, finishing off the holiday double over the Tinpots would be a great start. UTP, and happy new year to you all.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

John Bunyan, 1684

A start on the new stadium, all our players stay injury free until the end of the season so that we can have a good run in, and 3 points against Trinity today.
Happy New Year to one and all.

Confident that CE will continue to progress the team and re-establish us as a top half NCN team with a play-off push in 2018-19 seaon .

Also would be nice to see Craig  emulate his FA Cup run he achieved this year and to fulfil the dreams of Pilgrim fans .

For Craig to build a stable team in his image for the start of next season., and to Dream big for the rest of this season. You never know.

It would be nice to see some work start on the new ground, that would put my mind at rest.  On the field it would be nice if we could mount a challenge for the playoffs.

To now push on under a very impressive manager, and for the fans not to slate each other for differing views ! We all won't agree on everything after all. Play nice, on and off the pitch.  Happy New Year peeps.

No relegation, a new ground, a good competitive sqaud for next season, decent numbers of fans at home, the honest opinions continue on here.
Good health to you all.
Happy New Year to you all.

And also, sign Thompson and Middleton permanently.

A settled team and a start on the new ground.
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"
