Best of luck to Karl Hawley tomorrow night , having just watched the highlights of the Brackley match bedtime tonight will be a Nick Ross
(remember Crimewatch ?) warning moment , "  don't have nightmares "

Having inherited the worst garbage by any manager in recent years lets give him a fair crack of the whip .  Looking at Saturdays video surely AM a reputed defence expert has assembled the worst collection of defenders we've had for many a day .  Almost to a man they are players recruited from struggling clubs or players recovering from lay-offs due to injuries , and he even paid fees for 3 of them . Big challenge for Karl to sort out .  Give him a fair chance , this team will not be turned round in 2/3 matches .

It strikes me even with lessons over recent times a section of support live in a dream world where they think Boston are a non-league force and only the manager who ever he be is holding the club from beating any team that is put in front of them .

Realism has to prevail .

Salford are not second by accident, they will be organised and dangerous on the break, they will play keep ball and then pick us off, when we get frustrated.
If we keep playing the ball into their box at head height Podge will head it out all game long, we need to play the ball in behind them, Pidge has no pace, this is a game for Smithy to be introduced from the off and do a Denton on Pidge and co, then take him off when booked, bring on the quick boys.

Many slagged off last seasons defence. Has the revolving door policy of defenders improved on the likes of Batchelor Thomas Robinson Gordon Durrant Brown etc? Current crop certainly picking up miles more £££££ than the aforementioned
