AM has resigned
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

AM has resigned

David Newton is within his rights to reject this, and force AM to work out his notice period... however I would expect him gone by the end of tomorrow.

Shame it didn't work out and at least he had the decency to resign rather than wait to be sacked. He's the type of manager appointment we like to see, young, hungry and eager to make his mark.

I hope this turns out to be true.

Ever since the 4-0 spanking at Southport it's been obvious that we're like a rudderless ship and that was the opening day of the season.

Good riddance to him (if true). Got no sympathy for him or his excuses.

One of the worst managers of our club in the last 15 years! Talks Premier League in his interviews, but in reality he wouldn't deliver in the Pontins League 3rd Division.

Now can we get rid of the expensive crock of crap that he signed and show some bloody passion instead of weakly rolling over in games.

I feel sorry for Harry Vince who could clearly go far, but has to look up to a bunch of wasters who are dragging him backwards by being such spineless role models on a football pitch.

The season is a relegation battle now. If we don't win it and stay up, the buck lies firmly at Adam's door.

Only one person to blame, glad he's gone (if true) and he can take the rest of his wasters with him.

The statement on the club website:

http://www.bostonunited.co.uk/news/club-statement-adam-murray-2053337.html

Boston United can announce that Adam Murray has tendered his resignation as first team manager.
A further statement will be made tomorrow (Sunday).

It will not come cheap ,  as Yorkie says there's an "expensive crock of crap" that he signed that wants getting rid of .

I've always seen it as club first players & managers come & go. If the next manager can't turn this around quickly we will be down. It can't be a Drury type appointment it's too much of a gamble. DN knowing that from experience could bring DG in as he turned the Lee/Drury mess around in about 4/5 games. I must admit if someone had suggested Greene a couple of days ago I would have thought there was more chance of Howard Wilkinson returning.

I cant see much light at all..
You could be thinking at this time the only potential new good managers would never come here . :(

With Green in the crowd yesterday almost directly behind Murray in the stand perhaps the pressure was too much and he thought he'd walk before he's pushed.
I think if Green inherits this side get Kane Felix back from Deeping Rangers and add to what we have 2 or 3 quality signings set the side out with Dennis's style of width to our play and we will be ok.
It can be done.
