I would suspect that, aside from the full time clubs, that Boston's wage bill is the highest in the league

Yet the football is so 'basic' compared to other teams

There were 5 non players in our dugout last night. When DG was manager  there 2 - DG and Buncy.   

I don't suppose they are all there unpaid.   What exactly do they all do?

The only non players I know  in the dug out is Dan Milgate who has done a brilliant job on our pitch as demanded by AM . I don't think when he instigated the improvement AM realised it would help footballing teams like Chorley rather than our hoof ball style.  We must have about the most expensive dugout in the league .  Chappy sat on the bench fulltime (remember him , best midfielder in the league ) Hemmings making a playing cameo appearance now and again , both we were assured by Adam capable of Div 2 football .
Probably the 2 highest paid players on the books .

I hope the new striker we have been promised this week is utilised on the pitch and not crushed in the dugout .

 Call me old fashioned , but defender player managers like Don Donavan and Jim Smith did ok for the Club .
  One could merit a fulltime post ,unlike the present incumbent .
 There has been a few clean sheets , but far too many goals against to make any progress .
