Town should be extremely proud of their effort. I hope they can build on the momentum they have, and put together a successful league campaign.

I went Miele as did many Pilgrims ,  years since I've seen a good old fashioned tie like it . A bargain at £4.
If some of those Hyde players had run into your granddads digger it would have been a big repair job on the digger!!!
Hope Pilgrims don't get them next round .

Have you got an update please on the player took to hospital ?

It was a real cup tie game. Smashing atmosphere, apart from whichever of their fans threw a beer glass at our goalie. I always go if they're at home and we aren't.  A lot of Pilgrim fans there yesterday. When you're supporting your home team it doesn't seem to matter what league they're in.

Yep, cracking game, good atmosphere apart from a few nobhead hyde fans who obviously had just left school and couldn't handle their piss weak lager, lucky that half pint glass didn't hit our keeper.
That aside thought Town held their own, just a shame they couldn't hold out for a draw, wouldn't mind Hyde in next round, didn't see a lot their too trouble us.

The player that went to hospital had concussion and was released, I heard on the radio.
Very much a shame that they did not win, and it is really good to see that those who didn't travel to Mansfield yesterday went to watch and support the poacher's.

Yes, it was a smashing game at Town yesterday, especially the hat-trick in seven minutes. Well worth the £4 entry for me.

Would like to see united soccer in the town again ..
Rem the Orient tie of Jan 1968..
Under the lights 1-0 down the ground chanted Boston .. not United or anything ..
And the Orient right back passed into his own goal ..surreal .

Went to the replay Ted .
Orient had an experienced  prolific goal scorer and Don Donavan hung on to his shirt all night .
Can't remember the strikers name ,   can you ?
