Prediction League - Haughmond vs Boston United - FA Cup Replay
« on: September 16, 2017, 06:54:23 PM »
Well I'm hoping Boston can work out how to win Tuesday's replay so I'm going for:

Haughmond 1-5 Boston United (105)

Note that in cup games it's the score at the end of normal time that matters in the Prediction League.

Haughmond 2 Pilgrims 0. Attendance 176.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Yes it's baffling to so many with that beautiful playing surface why we continue to boot long hopeful stuff up front? As soon as their gaffer saw what we were up to he pushed the big no 6 further forward where he bossed the rest of the game in midfield. Can anybody see this playing style changing under AM? Yo have to look at the midfielders we've got and wonder they look quite suited to hoofball. It's low on entertainment & fans are staying away. I wish we could say it's a blip or bad run but it's sadly much worse than that & We as paying fans home & away want to see improvement on the pitch. David Newton must be as disappointed as we are with the dross being served up.
