Cracking game today vs Burscough..........However I think we all felt that the result seemed like a defeat.....we should have scored loads today,a combination of wasteful finishing and bad luck cost us in the end....they had 3 efforts directly at goal and scored 3.....we had loads but couldnt convert....in the end our inability to defend at setpieces cost us again.......it was perhaps,on reflection,a mistake to not play Liam Parker........however-onwards and upwards.........

Agree 100%,   All the posters moaning about the referee, it was not the ref who failed to let the ball being crossed by the burcough player, ( it was our left back ) which also led to the corner from which the goal came from, (which our defenders failed to clear).  Basic errors which cost teams points, it happens at all levels of football,  no league as ever been won in november, S&H will get it sorted, It was the most entertaining match of the season so far. throughly enjoyed it.

  Would have to agree with the posts so far and disapointed that we have scored 3
  goals at home and only come away with a share of the spoils.
  Would have to comment that at times we looked a little uneasy defensivly but
  managed to overcome any threat until the late equaliser that Tom imo should have
  commanded better.

Two different issues here. 1. The quality of the ref  2. The quality of our game.
Agree our finishing let us down but still have a long way to go and Im confident we have a high quality team better than any other in this league. Mistakes happen but our position in the league speaks for itself. The Burscoff  manager was rubbing his tummy at the end because he got a lot of abuse from people behind him calling him a bald headed fat  *astard. Who are we to argue with that.

Frustrating result. But a good entertaining game.

Two points dropped, but at least it had plenty of everything.

As long as we continue to pick up points we will be there abouts, still aliterate of games to go yet

Yeah we missed chances but we shouldn't be scoring 3 goals at home and not picking up all the points. Defence needs a wake up call and get back to its solid self.
Still don't think our keeper is good enough
On a positive not we still picked up a point and were not beaten

We've conceded 18 goals in the League, 6 of them against Burscough. A bit of a turnaround from last year, as Andy Gray, the Burscough boss, was manager of Prescot Cables and signed many of his own players in the summer - whom we beat 5-0 and were relegated.

Without a doubt we missed Liam Parker in defence.
