I have no real interest in Trinity but their fans do.
To them that team and all that goes with it no doubt means the world to them.
Just the same as Boston does to us, I say good luck to Trinity, except when we play them of course.  ;)

Spennymoor caused chaos last time they didn't complete a season, or a team from spennymoor before anyone says.

Damn, I'm on holiday. A long way to come back from Bognor Regis. Chris B says he's arranged another match for us to see down there.

I wouldn't worry , with Spennymoor  having the equivalent of  Hoggs Buses  ;) run their team and supporters coach (2 breakdown in the last 5 days) I'm quite confident they'll get a hat trick and won't make it .

I suppose that will depend on how many injuries they have, to as if they show up or not.
Perhaps David Newton should send a spare coach up just in case, but they would probably refuse to get on that one, probably would be the wrong colour or the seats are to hard, any pathetic excuse will do for them.

Apparently they are setting off on Sunday....
more likely at 4pm Tuesday if rumours of journey time from Saturday are to be believed, but of course, only if the keeper is fit!

Lol! Shame the League doesn't stamp out all this kind of sharp practice or at least investigate the alleged circumstances as to why they failed to turn up on Saturday. Makes a mockery of the competition and takes the micky out of both sets of fans.

agreed. It may be a case of 2+3=5, but the info i have quoted is all on their own social media / official web etc. Departure time on official twitter, keeper injury on their official web preview, And if you go on their unofficial forum on Facebook, you can see one of their fans stating his own embarrassment over the issue, agreeing the above is very likely, and correcting another of his own fans!
Of course, I could have it all wrong, and the bus just broke down, but that wouldn't be half as interesting!
Maybe next Tuesday there'll be a freak frost about 19.30 and Spayne Road will be unplayable?

I think it is disappointing that Spennymoor are compensating their fans who made the journey to Boston on Saturday but have made no gesture to the Boston supporters who were inconvenienced.

I know it wouldn't help every Boston fan (including myself), but it would be polite on their part to, for example, offer to fund the BUSA bus for the return fixture.

Have Spenneymoor been fined for not fulfilling a fixture?  Although it would be impracticable to implement, it would be great if they were made to compensate those of our fans who made long and wasted journeys last Saturday.
