Looks like the type of player we needed.

We can't go out and buy a proven 20+ goals a season player at this level without paying silly money so taking a chance on a young lad that can't get in to the first team in a higher league, a bit like we did with Southwell is what we have to do. Not a bad record when on loan at this level before.


That's 18 first team players now which probably means that's the squad complete as I doubt the budget will allow for many more. Can't imagine the playing budget would have increased much from last year.

The manager set himself a big task of getting the whole squad in place for the start of pre-season and it looks like he has done it with 7 days before the first pre season game without signing anyone that looks like a desperate signing.

On paper the squad looks good and we have a good chance of challenging for the play offs this season.

I totally agree Lee , I think we will go higher than we think, and don't forget Grant and Pepe, they may well get a deal yet.
