HE may be bench material if he hasn't improved his positional skills ..

Good to see Greg Smith back in pre season training.
Does anyone think that Grant and Pepe  will get a deal?
What is the favoured position of Pepe, could he possibly play as a winger??

I would hope PN could fit in as a LWBack ..
As you see, I like wingbacks ..

                                                            WILI
                                                      COWGILL BEATS
                                  CLIFTON  BROADHEAD MAGUIRE  NGOMA/YEOMANS
                                          MWANYONGO CHAPMAN VINCE/HAWLEY
                                                                WAITE

Yes good to see GS at  Preseason training, just so worried he'll turn an ankle again with his awkward shape , and its back to square one again .
Is that Wollaton Hall /Park Nottingham ?
50 miles from Boston ! But just pay for parking  ::)

Do you think a defensive midfielder/centre back is appropriate to play as a winger?

Yes, obviously Zak Mills did, but he was a versatile freak  :P

Not sure there's a 3G pitch at Wollaton Hall. My first thought was Southglade Leisure Centre but it's hard to tell from the photos.

I think Wallaton Hall was for the cross-country style run... Forest hire out some 3G pitches, maybe we'll be training there?

Didn't AM say that the new training ground was near the M1 corridor, if most of the players are Midlands based,it would make sense to me, and looking at some of the players that he has signed so far they must come from that catchment area.
After all they only play at York Street and probably car share etc on match day's, it's more important to be close to the training ground than the clubs home ground.
I am only talking from mine own experiences, if you were training near to Boston and living in Mansfield or Birmingham you wouldn't sign for Boston.
Just my opinion.

I don't know Ted ,  a bit before my time as a fan.
Haven't we historically signed players from up north during the seventies and eighties, perhaps they trained somewhere near the A1.
But traveling costs were much cheaper then, and no stupid shift patterns to work.

In the 90s we trained near Newark.
