Back to the Future....
« on: June 17, 2017, 11:16:24 AM »
If you could resign ONE former player, who would it be, and why? Forget the era they played in,  or their current age, who would you bring back that could be put into the team that would benefit the current set up the most?
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Ellender, proper leader.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

For me, Jim Lumby, goal machine with attitude.

Anthony Church gave everything out on the pitch, and scored his fair share of goals.
And I think the winner that got us promoted.

If I couldn't have Churchy it would have to be Neil Redfern, the look of terror in the eyes of the defensive wall just before he took a free kick was something to be hold, and they were right to be fearful because god he could leather them.

Jay Rollins. OK, he didn't accept the first offer put to him, but reading between the lines a lot of transfer targets aren't accepting the first offer either. Rollins was our best player last season, and Murray is making a huge mistake if he's given up on him completely.

Losing your best players can never be a good thing, just think back twelve months.

Anthony Church one of my ex players agree he was wholehearted and a great lad for banter.

Has he been snapped up yet?

My dad (a supporter since 1954) would have Bobby Svarc a goal machine apparently (a bit before my time)  :)
