Was flicking around on twitter last night and came across a tweet from our old player Gary Mallender who is Barnsley-based. He made some very positive comments about Cowgill, who never really got the chance he deserved at Barnsley.

I'm certainly more optimistic about the Cowgill signing than I am about the other three. Two players coming in from a side which only just avoided relegation and another probably coming from Mansfield for one last pay day - not entirely convinced about any of them. But at least Cowgill seems to tick the right boxes.

People do always moan we need experience.

Also Louis Briscoe signs for Stafford Rangers
Shame about Briscoe, too good to be at Stafford.
