Well we beat Notts County and Fylde to him, Brackley are really upset about not getting him.

Concerning!  where did you get this info from chubby ?      A few days ago Notts Co signed a player paying him DOUBLE what the Imps offered .      Have we had a multi-millionaire come on board ?

Youngchubby, you've got to be Adam Murray. You registered on this site the day before he (you) became the manager  :)

Don't know about clubs listed above. This is what Non league transfer News-Pitchero site said:

"Boston United have beaten off several higher ranked teams to land the services of in-demand Barnsley centre half Jack Cowgill..."

Perhaps I Adam Murray or could I be Andy Murray ??
The people who really  know who I. will be having a chuckle, but I do know a football agent.
Many players will want to go too Notts County, Nolan has really turned things around there and the new owner is very ambitious, no disrespect to Lincoln but County are a much bigger club with a bigger stadium and more resources, it probably sways players decisions.

Was flicking around on twitter last night and came across a tweet from our old player Gary Mallender who is Barnsley-based. He made some very positive comments about Cowgill, who never really got the chance he deserved at Barnsley.

I'm certainly more optimistic about the Cowgill signing than I am about the other three. Two players coming in from a side which only just avoided relegation and another probably coming from Mansfield for one last pay day - not entirely convinced about any of them. But at least Cowgill seems to tick the right boxes.

Didn't we pick up Pidge from a relegated side?

Yes Pidge did,was it Corby??
If you look at the comments on BUFC Facebook about McGuire I think you might have your concerns answered.

Trusting the above is true I think nothing less than a top 3 finish is acceptable .

People do always moan we need experience.

Also Louis Briscoe signs for Stafford Rangers
