Also Shaun Pearson released by Grimsby.

Heard from a few people that the Imps are very interested in him, wouldn't surprise me if that is where he ends up.

Both Pidge and Pearson would be very good signings.

The sad thing is we will not get any of them,I would expect they both would be looking for full-time football and plenty of clubs would be after them,

I think he might join up with his mate Scott Garner and nemesis Tom Denton at Halifax .
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Pidge was he really that good ?
The defensive stats were not that great when he was at Boston,
I am sorry but we are not even going to be in the top 10 this year, our budget is going to dictate that.
Salford have been given an unlimited budget and are paying players ridiculous wages to come to them.
We are now the minows of this league, sorry for the doom and gloom but we have to face up to it.
Only makes what Green achieved seem more remarkable.

YC69 Pidge was really that good.
He was a massive threat at set plays and his timing of a headed clearance was as good as any centre half in league 2 or the conference.
A massive loss but he deserves to be playing higher.

I think he was a good tackler, he obviously scored a lot of goals for a defender, looked like he was a good leader but I think he had weaknesses from a positional and pace perspective. The goals against column doesn't lie. Not all down to him of course - there's Garner as well  - and the rest of the defensive unit.

Having said that, would have him back tomorrow but not getting carried away about him.

Got voted into NCN team of the year on a regular basis , votes cast by other team managers .   they should know .

Apart from that chubby I agree 100% with the remainder of the comments .
