Is it working again?!

Seems to be up again, but is it working OK? Let me know if it isn't.

Looks like I need to sort out the colours and links but seems to be functioning OK at the moment.

Yes, and I'd like to say thank you Ken. I've missed the forum whilst it's been off, and it's a quick lesson in appreciating what you have, or not when it's not there. I'm pleased to post again. Thanks Ken.

What happened Ken? I remember when I ran the forum back when it was on the impsTALK site that it was being hacked on a near-daily basis. Exhausting to deal with.

Apparently some malicious files were uploaded early on Saturday morning and they were spotted by my site hosts (1&1) who then shut the site down as a precaution. Just the bit with Patter on it, the rest of the site was OK. I removed the file but it had also managed to change a whole load of the existing files that are used to define the Patter Board, so it no longer worked anyway. All the messages and membership details are kept separately, so I just needed to get the board software reinstalled and attached to the database. With hindsight I should have just deleted all the software and done a fresh install - which is what I ended up doing anyway. I spent a lot of time just trying to fix all the corrupted files and it took a long time - I was up until 3 o'clock on Sunday morning trying to fix it. Gave up in the end and did the reinstall - just lost all the formatting. So it's grey for a while instead of amber, but it seems to be functional.
