Wes Parker is at Hayes.

Only on loan, and he's now returned to Wealdstone.

Oh right, just saw the highlights of Wealdstone v Hayes and Yeading and he was playing for Hayes.
Wes is a nice guy - a good Skeggy lad - and I did wonder why he hadn't been appearing in the Wealdstone line up for a few months. Thanks for info. I know brother Liam is taking a season out and youngest brother Macaulay is still at Skegness Town - both ex-Pilgrims as well.

Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

a couple of months ago, he was working at a hospital in Kings Lynn. My son walked past him, mentioned him to my wife. He must have heard him, cos he turned around and grunted! Good job my son didn't mention how crap he was!

Didn't Sands live in Spalding? I don't think he is the only footballer on this page either!

Grant Holt! ironically, the pair of them aren't the fastest of movers! That's about where the comparison ends!

Was in Belfast at the weekend so went to see Linfield v Crusaders (top two in their league, and a local derby). I sat with the Crusaders supporters, and when they were 0-1 down in the second half I asked if they had any options on the bench. The chap next to me pointed over to the other side of the ground and said 'We've got this big bloke who's warming up at the moment and is new, but he hasn't had much of a chance yet'. It turned out to be Mikel Suarez. He came on a few minutes later, won a few headers but didn't have many opportunities to do much.

Windsor Park is a great ground now. There was a good atmosphere with just two sides of the ground open. I'd say the standard is pretty similar to ours, but as they are semi-pro too I suppose that's not surprising. It was just £10 to get in.

Former youth team product Ben Nunn is a part of the Boreham Wood FC squad that is sat in a comfortable mid table position in the National League Premier.

I was looking back a few seasons and found a report of interest.
July 30th 2012, Lincs Cup Semi.
Stamford 3 United 3, United won on pens.
For the Pilgrims, a Marc Newsham hat-trick.
For Stamford were goals by Gregg Smith and sub Ricky Miller. I wonder what happened to them?
Also on the team sheet for the Daniels that day were Paul Mayo, Tom Bachelor, Richard Jones, Gary King, Jordan Smith and another sub, David Staff.
