I might have missed something here but how does Brad being offered a contract at Gateshead tie in with him not being able to play at National League level as mentioned on the other thread?

Has the banning order expired? Have we misunderstood how it works and he can play at National league level but watch it? Or did the authorities look at Gateshead's place and think "well they can't possibly be in the 5th tier with a ground like that"?

Apparently it's a non-issue. He just didn't get back to BUFC's offer in time so it was withdrawn and he left.

Saw him play last season for them. Very good on the ball, and in the air, so all in all an all-round better defender. Very much in the Maguire-mold.
