no, he's still the best centre half for Sheffield FC, but at least the refs at that level will know how to ref a game, cos he's sure to tell them!

If we are honest;  truly the Last,  & Greatest Permanent Keeper we had. This is with reference to the current keeper debate. Ok we've had a couple of decent loans, but post Baxza not a lot to write home about, & it's Always a Major weakness in any team. We will lose games we should win until we get a top quality stopper in who the back 4 have confidence in.

Tom Evans was excellent in the S&H play off winning team

James McKeown wasn't too shabby either.

Max Strycek or whatever his name was was a terrific keeper

But we've had some real shockers too, Dan Haystead being the worst of a very ropey bunch post Bazza.

I go back to the excellent Gerry Stewart, Kevin Blackwell, John McKenna and then The Legend. All first class stoppers without a noticeable weakness to their game.

Will agree with most of that. My point being as with Bazza, if u can get a really top, vocal, confident, box dominating, Permanent keeper, the back four respond accordingly. Example being on Saturday their manager will be telling them to overload our shaky keeper with crosses & shoot on sight from the off. It just puts unnecessary pressure on our back line from the first whistle.
