Zak Goodson gone out on loan again from Altrincham - despite only being recently recalled from his loan at BUFC - and has joined Spennymoor.

was a decent game....deeping had no-one up front....towns winger Bayliss looked a tricky customer ,created both goals and a couple of other chances....would be nice if bufc gave a few of these local lads a trial at least

Back at Altrincham and scored a last minute pen against Torquay in a 2:2 draw. The goal effectively relegated Torquay back to regional football

Watched Carlton Town v Dunston UTS , a 2:0 win to Carlton
contained a great penalty save and follow up from Mike Emery in the Carlton goal. Squad member was Kyle Dixon.
Managing Dunston UTS was Chris Swailes a decent centre back we had in the early 90's. Apparently  he resigned after the game.

Went to see Anstey Nomads v Deeping Rangers yesterday in the final of the UCL Cup in Stamford (Anstey won 3-0). Conrad Logan was in goal for the winners, and I spent a lot  of the second half chatting with Spencer Weir-Daley who is at Anstey but wasn't playing, and with Graham Drury whose Stamford team won promotion impressively this season. They are now one promotion from us.

It's funny - I never rated Drury and thought he was one of the worst appointments ever made by David Newton, but I have been impressed by his record in the lower divisions.
