I haven't got an opinion about Logan, but I rated Stanfield. My memory bank tells me he felt DG's contract offer was "inadequate", so he left. He stuck his head in when it counted. Then DG signed Pidge and Nathan was forgotten. I still remember him.

Stainfield wasn't good enough for high-end Conference North, which is what we aimed to be. Compare him and Tom Ward to Shiels/Pidge and Garner, and it's no contest.

T. Denton departs Chesterfield.  No, it isn't Tom but Tyler Denton, a left back.  Too complicated having two T.Denton's at the same club?

With so many new faces arriving recently, perhaps it was far too difficult for them to work out how to identify the pair!! LOL!!

Unlike:-
(1) Back in the 70s Scarborough had two players called Harry Dunn - one was known as Harry Dunn and the other as Harry 'A' Dunn.
and
(2) Back in my Woad Farm primary school days back home in Boston in the 60s our headmaster was called Mr. Naylor. Another Mr. Naylor joined the teaching staff and so he was known as Mr. Charles (Charles being his first name)

Simples!!

Gloucester used to have 2 players called Mike Green - one of them was a goalkeeper, however!

Graeme Jones got a mention on MotD last night in his new role as part of Newcastle United's coaching staff.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.

I see Colby Bishop scored another 2 goals for Accrington the other night. When he played for us under AM, he couldn't hit a barn door at 20 paces. They must have him on a black pudding diet at Stanley and it's worked! Good luck to him anyway, he might be playing in the Championship next season.

I didn't see him in all of his games for us but there was nothing in there to suggest to me that he would make it at Football League level, good job I'm not a scout. Must have improved a hell of a lot, good luck to him.
