Forgive me for being pedantic, but doesn't that add up to 9 under AM?

not sure we were expecting overnight miracles.

Granted i see about two games a year but it sounded and looked like Den had lost the crowd and elements of the dressing room so a change really had to come.

Murray seems to have made us harder to beat, ok Brodie was a dud signing, but there's promise there for next year. (cue collapse and relegation)

To be more accurate I think he had lost the dressing room and  about 5% of the crowd .

Also AM has stopped the glut of goals we were conceding each game and at least now I feel confident the team can respond after going behind (Chorley and Darlo) whereas before they would drop their heads and concede more. I will judge AM better after the Summer when he has a chance to wheel and deal and get his own squad together,we have a lot on contracts which would cost more to get rid of now than to let their contracts expire.

However, in the games against Chorley and Darlo it has taken for us to score before we got on the front foot. Against Chorley, that was thanks to a penalty.

Time to move on, its all ifs and buts.
DG left AM with a squad that was very poor with no direction.
With probably very little budget left to use.
Maguire rubbish.
Brown past it
St Juste greedy and wasteful
Goalkeepers rubbish
Fairhurst lazy
Courtney no idea
Get my drift

Non of the above rubbish along with Brodie (AM's rubbish) were playing Saturday , 7 starters were AM signings .

Much to Greene's  embarrassment he described Ashley Timm's one of his early signings as the best non-league goalie .
Will AM suffer the same embarrassment with his description of Adam Chapman ?

I have not seen anything that suggests AM signinhe are worse than than DGs
We are moving forward steadily building a team which does look much stronger and organised
There does seem to be on here a move to undermine AM and I don't know why.
AM has done nothing but be positive and try to improve this team.
What does GHM want, does he think that the club has loads of money to give AM to sort this mess out.
What players who are any good are available this time of the season, not many if any.
And most of his potential targets will be most likely on contract.
I really hope AM makes those who constantly snipe at him, eat your words next season.

Timms may well have been the best keeper. ..however he also had the worst attitude .
poss a lot of players at this level are here not because of lack of ability but bad attitude when they had opportunities at higher level.
(poss a broad generalisation )
another difficulty managers have to deal with.

what a chuffing job! ....wouldn't thank you for it

If you look back though my posts over the last few years chubby you will see I have been pointing out the difficulty in competing with many teams in this league and pointing out what a difficult job the manager has who ever he is  .  Tell me who has repeatedly come on Patter and pointed out the difficulty in enticing players to travel to our outpost ?  Looking though these posts you will see I have always advocated sustainability .     I made a comment on your post ,   were did I criticise  AM.?

I suggest AM agreed with my assessment of Brodie .  Only time will tell if my question re: Adam Chapman is valid .

Time will tell. If we're averaging 1.4 pts per game next season then that would represent a big disappointment. Until he gets his own team in and has a pre season to make his signings, I can't really judge him.

Repairing our shambolic home record is an urgent priority. Boston should be a horrible trip for opposition, but instead it's an easy game after a few hours on the road
