RIP
« on: February 15, 2017, 01:53:45 PM »
Have just heard regular supporter and friend of the club Kim Cox has passed away.  He used to post on here as O CHO MEALLT.  He was also a member of The Boston United Trust committee.  R.I.P Kimmy.

R.I.P Kim, what an awful shock reading this Mick. Had such a lot of time for Kim who worked on the board of the Trust with me and loved BUFC. Always a voice of reason back in the day. It will be sad not to be bumping in to him at the odd away game and seeing him sat behind the goal at the York Street end being the voice of reason regardless of the result. Will be sadly missed.

Echo that lads, he was a Pilgrim to the core and a great bloke to chat to with a wealth of stories about BUFC, music and life in general, listening to him he'd lived a life and a half in his youth. He'll be very sadly missed by a lot of us of a certain supporting vintage.

God bless you Kim.

I would love to show my respect at Kims funeral but I don't know his family or what the arrangements are, I would be very grateful if someone could pass them on to me. O CHO MEALT it would be lovely and fitting for that to played in his memory.

Hi I've sat next to Kim in the York St end for many years , such a lovely bloke and will be missed terribly
. Been to see his wife Jane and will post funeral details when known.
Kim was Boston Utd to the core after his Dad started taking him to matches.
He knew many people round the ground and the place won't be the same without him.
God bless you Kim

Yes , great to meet  fellow Pilgrims paying respects as the club was an important part of his life.
Nice service   for a lovely guy that didn't have a bad bone in his body.
We'll miss you mate

I second that Dave, nice to see you again, pity it was on such a sad occasion.  RIP Kimmy.

It would of been nice if the club had sent a rep.

Yeah but then everytime a fan died and the club did not attend people would moan they went to so and so's so why not this one.
