Utd away v BPA
« on: January 21, 2017, 02:59:06 PM »
Brown slots into back 4 to replace the suspended Robinson, Brodie & Simmons up front plus a good bench although no keeper on it.

We seem to have much more of a presence on the pitch, look a far bigger and stronger unit altogether. Could be an interesting second half to the season.  As i've said time and again, we was never going to go down, our chairman first and foremost would never have allowed it.  Good work all round to get us back on  track !

Sounds like our keeper is not having the best of games.

did well. although BPA were poor so let's not get too carried away

they only really had one proper chance. our keeper made a decent save and 2 mins later 1 0 became 2 0. that's how football goes sometimes

squad strength building all the time but it's early days so keep it low key for now but i think next season will be a good one

i'm not getting carried away, but a few weeks ago when the aftermath of the Fylde result was the discussion point, I, for one would his have been happy to think about mid-table safety. I doubted it at the time, and genuinely tbought we in a relagation scrap. Now, not that long after, here we are, 10points above the dropzone and 12points from the play offs mid table safety is a seemingly reasonable bet. So, with Adam building what looks to be a solid foundation, and the players seem to be playing with a new belief, I see no reason why we can't rebuild into a stronger team once more. Well done to Adam and the squad. I have found a similar new belief. Sure, today we have beaten a poor side, but earlier this year we lost at home to Stalybridge, and look where they are. You've still got to get the result, however good or poor the opposition is.

for me. the biggest area of progress under AM is unity and team spirit. both were on display in abundance so well done to all involved

on another note, today's ref was poor again. think it's only right to comment on bad officials when we've won as well as when we lose

we've had shite refs versus shitboro, stockport and today. one common denominator- all three have been midgets. say no more!

enjoy the weekend and smile guys. we have much to look forward to

stick together and we can achieve!
