I finally got to a match again - my first since Altrincham - and I didn't end up spending six hours in A&E at the local hospital either, and Boston won, and I got to take a few snaps without getting stopped by the stewards. So a pretty good day.

The snaps can be found in a public Facebook album. Just click on the link below:

Not brilliant due to the lack of practice and the poor light at this time of year, but there are a few half decent shots in there.

for me. the biggest area of progress under AM is unity and team spirit. both were on display in abundance so well done to all involved

on another note, today's ref was poor again. think it's only right to comment on bad officials when we've won as well as when we lose

we've had shite refs versus shitboro, stockport and today. one common denominator- all three have been midgets. say no more!

enjoy the weekend and smile guys. we have much to look forward to

stick together and we can achieve!

In respect of the refs, the Premier League officials are constantly getting criticism and they are professionals. Way down at our level, why should we expect anything different ? For me, it's time to accept it as the norm. Non league players, non league refs. And at the end of the day, when judging a ref, what are we basing our expectations on ? Do we want Premier League standard refs at Conf North level ? If so, we may as well get used to it now because it's never going to happen.

did well. although BPA were poor so let's not get too carried away

they only really had one proper chance. our keeper made a decent save and 2 mins later 1 0 became 2 0. that's how football goes sometimes

squad strength building all the time but it's early days so keep it low key for now but i think next season will be a good one
i'm not getting carried away, but a few weeks ago when the aftermath of the Fylde result was the discussion point, I, for one would his have been happy to think about mid-table safety. I doubted it at the time, and genuinely tbought we in a relagation scrap. Now, not that long after, here we are, 10points above the dropzone and 12points from the play offs mid table safety is a seemingly reasonable bet. So, with Adam building what looks to be a solid foundation, and the players seem to be playing with a new belief, I see no reason why we can't rebuild into a stronger team once more. Well done to Adam and the squad. I have found a similar new belief. Sure, today we have beaten a poor side, but earlier this year we lost at home to Stalybridge, and look where they are. You've still got to get the result, however good or poor the opposition is.
Well said totally agree, onwards and upwards, in the word's of Steve Thompson yesterday"Boston are looking like a team that are hard to beat"

Hi ghm
Well 2 have got themselves long- term injured , I think one will go to another club and the other will be squad player when fit .
Another can win a match but is slow and inconsistent , so may go at season end
    Have I missed any ?
Aim for a midfield like Lincolns , Luke Waterfall appeared Championship class on TV .

Not sure, I'm hopeless remembering dates. I know the actual website started up in July 1995, but it was a few years after that Patter was added. Best guess is mid 1999. I'll have a dig through various archives to see if I can pin down a date.

Had a look in the Wayback Archive and there's a front page for the web site from May 1999 that doesn't have a link to Pilgrims' Patter on it and a later one from October 1999 that does. So Pilgrims' Patter was probably added in the summer of 1999. So Pilgrims' Patter will be 18 years old in the summer and will therefore be able to legally smoke, drink and generally be treated as an adult.  ;D
