A former player, albeit briefly so, Sam Mulready, was released by St Neots 5 days ago, and according to his twitter page, he has "decisions to make over Lincolnshire offers". Now I might be getting 2+2 to equal 5, but......

All interesting stuff
Looking at SM s history .. surprised if he is the answer .

      How about midfield /attack ...

          CHIP  GATT  CLARKE

                    FITZ

              JROB      ROLLY

JROB being instrumental in getting 4pts instead of 1 off Gboro   8)

Tho BATCH would need a c/defense partner ..

Wells at Spalding is probably under contract - he's hit the net quite a few times already this season.

Grant Ryan at Stamford put a good shift in for them on Monday against Spalding,.

Luke Shaw or Lee Shaw at Grantham would be a better bet than wells. Players a league higher than Wells. In an average side they are storming it

I think we have to give Fairhurst 1 game to show what he can do, and I'd start Chippendale instead of Hilliard.
And throw Clappison into central midfield or holding role?

Darius Henderson is currently a free agent after being released by Mansfield earlier this week. He's played at a much higher level and might not be within our budget, but then again he might consider a non contract / short term deal and might be prepared to help out the manager that signed him for Mansfield. Oh, and he is 6 feet 4 inches tall and a centre forward!

More importantly he is used to taking wage cuts ,  when moving from Sheff U to Millwall he took a £9k a week cut ,   from £15k to £6k a week .

I bet nobody predicted that Nat Brown would play for 45 minutes as a centre forward target man vs SC!

TTT did suggest playing Brown up front, in a previous post, do you think we will see him there again, but he will probably be back in defence next Saturday, due to Robinsons impending suspension.

So we decided to play with no one up front with two strikers on the bench . Not an attempt on target all game

personally I thought Brown at least gave the long ball a target that they didn't have in the first half, but overall we were second best and lacking all over the park today. Will we see him there again? Possibly, but a loan signing would be better. As you say, now he's fit again, he's needed at the back, but for me still has to prove he wants to play rather than just going through the motions to collect his wage. Another big test to come next week, I'm sure.

He's just signed for Eastleigh.
