"Pilgrims are an absolute shambles defensively"
« on: December 06, 2016, 08:35:50 PM »
It's taken 37 minutes for Andrew Simpson from Cheshire (tweeting on tonight's Witton cup tie) to form this opinion. Why has it taken 23 matches for us to still be working out if we have anyone fit enough to pull on the shirt at the back, and what's the best combination? Time for the senior players to stand up and put a shift in. And I include EVERY one of them in that comment.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

his follow-up comment...."Witton could score as many as they want tonight".....I almost expected it at Fylde, but this is completely unacceptable, what level have we dropped to?

A complete shambles! Don't know why we have got so many poor players this season. Dennis had a high turnover of players but most were decent. Is the the financies or lack of that have dictated the dross we have got. The Sunderland link dried up and we end up getting York City reserves.

And as a parting tweeted gift from the same chap whilst entering injury time...."Boston are like a parody of a football team. Confidence obviously shot, but some of the defensive gaffs are breath-taking". Time to listen to others, even if we disagree between ourselves.

Thank goodness I didn't go tonight the embarrassment from 150 miles away is bad enough. Well we will have a new manager soon who will have to get rid of the Greene dross but I am afraid the board will have to provide him with funds just to save us from relegation. Thanks once again Greene you useless prat.

He left us a load of dross ,  but you can,t take away his record .    Time will tell if overachieved for 3 years , or lost the plot at the end .
