Have to agree ghm. ..I've asked the Lithuanian and polish friends I have to honestly answer if there's been an anti feeling.  They've had none....I realise there have been cases which is disappointing.  The vote, if it was about migration was more to do with quelling more coming in rather than about those that were here

Haha brilliant, no really that's brilliant. Of course the last few months have been all beer and stittles for them...

Oh and the daily mail is useful as chip paper and that's it. If you think my views are formed from that rag you have no clue.

Genuine question then for you guys who have all these 'friends' from those communities, have you asked them to come? Have you spoken about why they don't if that's their preference? Have you taken those points to the club? Have you tried to encourage them to attend at all?

One of our posters has explained his experience of taking migrants to a match .  They don,t appear to have  interest in English football is my assumption , when given a " no "  I continue discussing subjects I know they are interested in , like gardening and their land of birth .
I would considerate in rude to indicate to them that they should attend ,   likewise my English friends would considerer me rude if I insisted they should have voted Stay ..

Despite our many moans one thing we retain is freedom of speech ,   lets all respect it .

They don't appear to have an interest so you have done nothing to promote the club or the experience to them. Ok, just so we are clear.  But let's complain the club does not do enough to encourage them....  ::) :dan

I do not always agree with your political views, but on this we may have some common ground :o

The club is a club for the community, so why not serve the community?  By the community, I mean everyone.

If the migrant population are made welcome, then maybe some will start attending matches.

Open the social club up for specialist Polish nights, invite them for a welcome party.  Offer the hand of friendship.

Hold some markets at the ground, have specialist stalls and integrate with the English community.

When they know where the ground is and how friendly we are, invite them to a match.

Extend the hand of friendship and make them welcome, you never know.
