Stockport (A)
« on: September 08, 2016, 09:56:26 PM »
Anyone else going? Probably on a train due in 12:30 ish, perhaps going to try out the Crown Inn, just north of the station

Wasn't at the BPA home game but clearly we need a fair improvement from Saturday's home defeat. We've had a terrible run away from home, Gloucester being particularly annoying as I'd say they're the only side we've had away who will likely not be in the top 6 or 8 and we fell apart (again) 2nd half.

They're hit and miss, inconsistent, I see the odds for us have come in from 4/1 to 7/2 after they lost last night at Darlington (blew a host of chances before losing 2-1). Wonder if the extra day will give us any benefits after their 250 mile round trip on Wednesday?

My lad and I going, hopefully be there around 12ish, maybe try out the armoury pub for Manchester derby, I'll be more than happy to come away with a point.

You can't go wrong with the armoury. It's a proper rough and ready boozer. The beers decent and reasonably pricred. Never had any issues with the locals in there when we've been before. Have a good trip.

Yeah we may as well go in the armoury, should be there half 12. Been in twice. No bother from locals, think they serve ales, sure they have sky. And 5 mins walk from the away end

Great result! Well done Den and Team. Now lets get up to the top of the table where we belong!
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

Fully agree...after the terrible results so far this was a great result.
Sounds like 2 points dropped but it's all in the right direction.
A bit of a ways off top of the table yet but things are improving.

Probably should have won. Henry had one good save to make and we hit the bar and agnew should have scored at the back post. Much improved.

Just back and agree with Josh, game we should have won, best we've played all season and Den seems to have stumbled upon a good formation with Marshall right back and st juste left back who in my opinion had his best game in a Boston shirt, would have been happy with a point before the game, so a measure of how well we played am disappointed we didn't take all three.
Feeling slightly more optimistic after today, onwards to Alfreton.

Very entertaining game of football. We bossed the first half. They came out and scored early in second. As soon as we conceded we controlled the game for 20 mins. Got tired. They put us under pressure but never looked like scoring in my opinion.

Last two games a hell of a lot better! Let's get behind the lads!!

AGAIN we had a linesman trying to give offside when a defender put through an attacker...
