Take your Pick
« on: August 29, 2016, 06:11:05 PM »
Only a matter of minutes before we have a demand for Greene to be sacked .
Now if previous demands are a guide the poster will have overlooked the obvious ,  who can take over ?

But do not despair here are some possible options ..

Mark Bower  ex guiseley
Liam WATSON ,
Neil Young .

Every chance that Kevin Wilson will be available very shortly .

If many Halifax fans had their way Billy Heath , Tom Denton complete with hoofball would be made available .

Sure many  will rush to name better candidates .

Nat Brown can't do any worse than Greene.Might as well use him while he's out injured.

Let  Green get us out of this mess. He got us into it.

As a complete outsider - but not as crazy as it may seem - how about a management duo between your Secretary, Craig Singleton and Chris Cook? Both are 100% Boston through and through and their knowledge of non league football and tactics are extensive. Both are well respected within the game and by players. Worth a punt?

Hmm
The mess as you say was caused by the squad being decimated.
4 of his signings jumping a division to go to league clubs
One went on a year out.
Geography affected a couple..
Throw in injuries...and you have a "perfect storm"
Who would be a manager!

It's all a dastardly plan - keep us in this League then go all out for promotion when the new ground is ready, having an extra £70,000(?) per season to spend.

Greene has earnt time if he still has the desire.  This team is poor and key players are very injury prone.  Would like to see Greene given more money to get some experience into the team as even if we change managers the new one will need money in wages to change the team around anyway.

Definitely need to get some experienced players in , replacing the quality of the players who left was never gonna happen without a far bigger budget

Replace him with Managers from clubs that are near the bottom of an higher league. Yes that makes perfect sense to me!!!

I think both are far too wise for that ,  unlike the Greene outers you have made a constructive suggestion Bill.
I,m sure Craig has too big a work load to take on other duties ,  likewise with Chris .

Worth considering KON .  Would probably manage to get  his old mate  Connor Robinson back and some young loanees from Lincoln .   On the down side these loanees would be more costly than the likes of MaxStryjek and Liam Agnew and eat into the budget .

On the other hand I,m sure Nat could entice some old pro,s down here who have not yet got fixed up with a club this season .

Thats the one I go with Dip ,  but will he see it out ?

Clubs are already looking for a change of manager , sure when these clubs scrutinise applicants they will be lucky to get one with a CV to match Greene,s .
