We need Johnny Foreigner in to teach us how to play our national game, if we can get him across the border now  :police:

Don't rule out Mr Evans - someone will have mentioned him no doubt at "Lancaster Gate" - but how about Louis Van Gaal?

Lets put this in to perspective.
Iceland have no professional teams. Most of their players are part time. They kept the same team for every game. The assistant manager is a dentist by profession.
I say well done to them, it's great when a Non League team stuff a professional one.  :D
America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.

Sam's far to outspoken for the job. Anyway, his teams play like Iceland, not the fast flowing, free scoring, football we want to see, ah, hang on a minute!!

We can't perform away from home when in big tournaments - simple as that. For some reason, we don't do well when we're away from England for any length of time. Perhaps our players aren't used to being away from their home comforts for too long. Fine when it's a quick hop over for a qualifier or Champions League game but put them all together for a couple of weeks in a hotel and they fall to pieces.

Not sure how this is fixed. Thought the players were generally the right ones - manager not too bad. Just can't deal with the above.

Because he is U21s manager, done very well with them and already employed by the FA.

I'd love to see Big Sam or Pardew get it, but can see Southgate being the easy choice..

Maybe because our players all play in England, rather than in other countries.... so when it comes to staying abroad for a month, they struggle to adjust.
