He said "last ever game". I'd love him back, but even after a year out eating pad thai and, errrr.... kangaroo burgers, I imagine we'd face some stiff competition for his sig.

I watched Grimsby beaten at home by Braintree Town the other night on BT sport.
Ex BUFC Shaun Pearson was bench warming for Grimsby Town so maybe we could get him back for a year as a temporary Pidge  :dan

It will be very big shoes to fill as Pidge is the best at timing and winning headers at both ends of the pitch I think I have seen at this level and probably up to league 2 level.
Wish him well shame he cant reconsider as Pidge and Browny are forming a great partnership and when we go up they would be very hard to break down.
Shame...
Pidge wish you well.

Indeed, massive boots to fill, and yes, a great partnership forming with Nat Brown. These things happen though, so we've got to suck it up. However pulls that shirt on next year has a huge mountain to climb, as inevitably the comparisons will be...Pidge would have got to that or Pidge would have cleared that, etc, etc. He's a massive talent at this level, and we've been a lucky club to have him here. Good luck to him, whatever his future holds.

Wholeheartedly agree with everything that's been said on here, but can't help remembering similar emotions when Sean Pearson or Ricky Miller left. Life goes on, and dare I say it????

Determined and brave, will be a big miss next season at both ends of the pitch. Good luck to him in AUS.

Pidge has signed for South Melbourne FC. Might involve some nicer away days than Ferriby...

South Melbourne have tried to sign Didier Drigba but it's fallen through. What a pity. He could have learnt a lot from playing alongside Piergianni.
