Spectacular goals

Kaine Felix last week, Grant Roberts today. Goals, if scored in the Premier League, would be being replayed time after time. But for those of us lucky enough to have seen both, which one did you enjoy most? I'd go for today's by Grant. Sat in the Tom Pendry Stand we had a fantastic view of it. We could have had ten today to be honest, Stalybridge must be wondering what hit them!!

I think that strike today edged it, the audacity to hit it from so far out, the fact it pinged off the stanchion, the fact we were stood right behind it. must have been 35 yards?? Hope someone captured it on video.

It was my video posted earlier - and I wasn't sure that I had even got the goal on video.
I had videoed several of the set pieces and with this one - I zoomed in a bit, and as the corner was taken just left my phone horizontal and watched the game as normal.  I had no idea I had got the shot in the video - had I been looking at the phone as it was being filmed I would have kept a steady hand and got the full sequence of the goal plus the reaction of the crowd.

If you look further down my videos you will also see the goals scored by Felix and Jay from last week plus the 2 other fantastic goals scored by Mark Jones and Felix against Stockport.

Fabulous goal by Roberts, Beautiful goal by Rollins and three bog standard goals by Southwell. As a fellow Pilgrim said to me at the end of the game "That was very un- Boston United today not putting us through the ringer". I cannot recall a recent game where we have been so dominant from start to finish. I cannot recall a single effort on goal by Stalybridge such was the brilliant defensive display. Nat Brown and Pidge are a match made in heaven and I feel are the two who can snuff out the threat of Denton in the play offs. Can anyone tell me is the golden boot awarded to the top goal scorer in the regular season or do the play offs count? personally I hope the play offs count because the way Dayle played today it was clear he was after the award and is in the mood to nail it in the next three games. UTP.

Grants is the winner. The goalkeeper doesnt even move
