Nuneaton's appeal has been dismissed

An FA Appeal Board has today [Friday 22 April 2016] dismissed an appeal from Nuneaton Town in relation to a decision by the National League to deduct the club three points for fielding an unregistered player.

The charge, which the club admitted, was in relation to Nuneaton’s National League North fixture against Corby Town on 27 February 2016, which Nuneaton won 3-1. The League issued a sanction of a deduction of the three points gained from the fixture and a fine of £250.

Nuneaton appealed to The FA on the grounds that the League misinterpreted or failed to comply with the rules or regulations relevant to its decision.

However, this claim was dismissed by The FA Appeal Board and the full decision of the National League remains in place.

So the equation is simple...2 wins guarantees play-off football....bring it on...

Trinity only did it the once.

And Nuneaton not affording to go up? They were in the National League last season, and are still full time...

I think Nuneaton went down last season because of their deduction.
Just checked, and they still would have been relegated, as they finished bottom.

Howsham has an excuse though. He needs his fingers to count, and by his own admission as he's been to Boston and left without a full compliment of digits, he can't get to three before he runs out of options.... :)
