Will feel out of place if he's not a loan signing.

Meanwhile Rio Ferdinand has tweeted about becoming the new Manchester United manager, Arsenal have added a retractable roof to the Emirates Stadium, Southampton have a new club crest, Dave Bassett is the new Director of Football at Sheffield Wednesday and Lionel Messi has moved to Real Madrid.

I think it's also the anniversary of Dagenham advising their supporters to wear sunglasses for night matches because they'd had some brighter floodlights installed.

And didn't Grimsby announce that they'd be wearing pink and black stripes for the rest of the season after the kit man put a bright red sock in the washing machine alongside the shirts?

Can't believe Dennis hasn't thought of this footballing icon sooner! Strength, experience, and local to boot.
I hope he's still got the silky skills that kept my brother on the Carps bench for 10 seasons.
Great "feel good" signing for the run-in. Well done Dennis!

He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

A true leg end in his own lifetime.
