First let me say well done to the lads.  I think that is what is called winning ugly.  I thought we were unlucky to be one nil down, if our chances had gone in we should have been 3-0 up.  The pitch showed signs of wear and that showed in the quality of the game.

I hope that we have our midfield sorted before the next match, we never had one today

I thought Sands was unlucky to be taken off, perhaps the open goal miss was a factor.

The ref made a mistake sending off the number five, he deserved to go off but he did not show the yellow card to him for the first foul.  I think that is the point he made to the ref.  I am not saying he did not book him, but he has to show a card.

We were missing key players today, I hope we can sort it out because we are in with a hell of a chance to get out of this league with nearly all results going our way today.

Well done lads.

For the first yellow the ref held up the card but the No5 was jogging away and didn't see it, maybe one of his team-mates should have told him?

A good result against a team that didn't, to me, look like a side near the bottom of the table.

An excellent performance really from a makeshift team.
Pidge was awesome.  Grant Roberts really did a shift and an unsung hero Mark Jones did a lot of work. He really worked hard for the team

It was a good performance against a decent side. Hednesford let themselves down with a series of fouls, which the ref mainly chose to ignore. The attitude problems were down to the manager IMO,  and he got what he deserved when Kane Felix headed in the third as he was escorted off the field  :dan

Sinclair was just the same down here last year with Colwyn Bay, and was in charge of an ill-disciplined side. Surely not a coincidence? And yes, a close up of the third was just what he deserved.

Their goal came from a free kick where the player just fell over, they did a few of those and just shouted REF and the decision was given,he missed clear fouls and hand balls in the box (as did his assistant) and I was thinking he was more likely to give them one than us.. The penalty could have seen a red awarded as he was last man an stopped what would have been a goal.... He did show 5 a yellow but god knows why he had to go to the linesman TWICE to check with him....

Still,a hard fought win and if you can win when not at your best is the sign of a good team :)

They had a plan to counter attack, and they did look alright going forward. However at the back, they weren't too good - starting from when the number 5 (on loan from WBA) almost headed past his own keeper.

So the ref did show the card for the first foul but don't know why he wasn't firmer about getting No.5 off the field straight away.

hednesford tried to con the officials by somehow subbing the #5 before the ref showed the red. Where I was sat the 4th official had the board ready clearly showing 5 off 14 on, and tried to get him off before the officials realised. . All the cr*p about not knowing is exactly that - cr*p. Bottom line their attempt to cheat was eventually thwarted.
