Well the sort of formo Pulis used to grind Stoke up the leagues..6 quickly back when defending .
Last nite Stoke played Adam as holding midfield . . isn't he smallish  ?
And Bobin Krirc as centre of 3 . .
One reason I looked at it is that Robbins and Roberts (+ Rollins Sarpong Felix ? ) are scoring runners (re Sat ) in the 3..
A reason change of formo tactics may not work (so I've been told) is that some players will have trouble understanding them .

            Worth a debate ..

It looked as if we were playing a 4-1-4-1 for the first half of Saturdays game.

Full time teams have 5 days a week to work on formations/tactics .
Part-timers have 4 hours a week .
You would need a genius to pull that one off . :)

Following Swansea  v  Stoke on BBC radio .
Prem teams seem to line-up 4-2-3-1 these days .
Would that work  at York St ??
We tried it in one game at home... Fylde I think? It's a formation that essentially has 6 defensive players and 4 attacking (relying on fluidity in midfield to link play). Can you get away with that in our division?

And it looked like we tried it on Saturday (although it wasn't too clear), with Jones, Robbins and Johnson behind Southwell. Doesn't work!
