Offered a lot more than Newsh (not knocking MN's contribution at all) - tracked back, used his muscle to hold the ball up as well as run at the defenders. Could have let the ball cross the line, but as a striker he's always going to tap it in.

Promising start.

Well done lad, great debut and hopefully his pace and power will add a different dimension.

But to say he offers more than Newsham is like comparing chalk with cheese, newsham scored around 100 goals but wouldn't beat anyone for pace.

I mean in an overall sense. Not saying he's better than Newsh at what Newsh does well (finishing, anticipation and the knack of 'being there').

Boston's average attendance actually went up by about 150 after Miller left. :)

I said weeks ago we needed some pace up front and now we have it. My only concern now is that DG might move him to the back line.😁

Stamford fans say he was a left sided winger, not a central striker. Good goal return is he did play out wide.
