Hmm.

Any guesses? Sounds ominous...

Might be clearing up the Steve Welsh thing, thinking about it?

Stadium announcement?
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Thanks a lot John (and Maureen) for everything you've done for the club in good times and bad.

Exceptional loyalty

Phew!

Although, obviously, it's sad to be losing JB. Sterling work, and a well-deserved retirement. Excellent gesture by the club to offer him a testimonial and the club presidency too.

Gladly it's announced early, so he can be given a great send off over the next few months

Taking 'early' retirement.
If the new stadium ever completes they should at least name a part of it after John. Perhaps one of the function rooms.
Have they been training someone up to take over.
Whatever, he has been the backbone of the club for years. I once told him how much people have appreciated his and Maureens loyalty and workrate for the club and that he was highly regarded by a lot of people and he seemed totally unaware of that. Nows the time to make them aware of it.

Not for nothing has John been known as MR BOSTON UNITED for the last 20 years !!

Hope we all remember this at the time of his testimonial .

Mr Cuddles was a bit grouchy when he had to climb the stairs of the old office opp Glyder about 18 years ago ..
For some programmes for yours truly .May still be a load up there ?
Still with a bit of cursing ..and calming words from Mo he made it .
