Enjoyable game today.
Should have won, but could have lost.
Thought Lionel Stone (19) was excellent .
Dixon also was excellent.
Jones tried really hard and could have had a couple but for a couple of great saves.
Roberts did well at full back
Marrs was back on form.
Just a shame we conceded a silly goal.
Yes there were a few wayward passes but no ones perfect .....
But hey ho

Yes, a very enjoyable game .
Credit to Tamworth for playing to get 3 points right to the end .
Yes , I thought Stone was excellent , but at only 6ft 2 ins is he all enough ?
Yes Dixon demonstrated that a good little ,un is better than a big cart horse .
Best I,ve seen Jones this season ,  getting into gear ,  remember that glut of  goals last season ?
Apart from odd blip though the defence was outstanding .  From Roberts display today we now have 3 good fullbacks when Mills is fit .
Still only three points outside play-offs ,  and its only the end of August , hope we don,t peak too soon  :)

A few good performances. New defender looked like a v good signing. Pidge was back to his best. Roberts did well at right back.

Dixon was very good, tenacious and some great balls into the box that we almost scored from. Rollins did ok, should have scored with the chance he had in the first half. Thought Felix looked like a half fit player particularly in the second half. We didn't see Felix run the wing like he usually does, although he did cut inside and go close a couple of times in the first half.

The front two did well, Jones worked hard giving an assist to Southwell and one to Rollins which he could have done better with. Southwell looked dangerous and scored again.

Surprised Den didn't make any subs we could have done with some fresh legs to grab a winner. The only attacking options (Friend and Limb) are inexperienced young players which may be why they didn't come on in a tight game.

A good point against a good side. I don't remember our keeper having to make a decent save.
