Read the second one down. Is this the same Michael Emery? Both same age and I believe the keeper did live in Boston. Also, having to play regularly at the Northolme would drive anyone to drink. If this is the same guy then the lack of a driving licence would make it hard to get to training and matches in Gainsborough.

Unfortunately it does seem to be the same one - however nor this or a previously 'failed' trial should deter him. There have been plenty of players who have failed trials at York Street or plied their trade at a lower level then Conference North and gone on to better things.

Can't believe we've been faffing about trying to sort the keeper situation out for so long. Very disappointing and looks like we are replicating what happened at the start of last season.

Michael played for Spalding today in their 2-0 defeat at Skegness Town. Emery is a nice lad who has had a few injury problems over the last few years yet works hard in the youth footballing set-up. If BUFC did sign him he would be an asset, although I really can't see this happening - but would be happy to be wrong!

Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

You can't say that TEP, people will get at you for being negative.

Don,t think anyone will accusse TEP of being negative .  Sure it is a genuine unbiased opinion which most agree with .
