Boxing Day....away to Lowestoft :-(

Because the 26th December is a Saturday this year then Monday 28th December is substituted for Boxing Day so it's at home to Gainsborough Trinity on Boxing Day.

Happy memories from the first game a couple of years back, should be a good indicator as to early form.

It could be worse, in National South, Truro's first game is away at Margate....a mere 666 mile round trip.

Ken - surely Boxing Day remains unchanged at 26th December,  it's just the date of the associated bank holiday that has shifted?

Gloucester away ... doubt we'll be playing there on a Sunday?

I know they groundshare with Cheltenham, but surely they'd be able to alternate weeks rather than forcing matches onto a Sunday.

Fylde away and Chorley away ... two very similar journeys only seven days apart.

Tamworth over two Bank Holidays again ... no doubt that'll be their excuse for making it Cat A and charging us extra again.

You'd think that it would be simple to pair the teams in the fixtures (one at home, one away on any given Saturday) given that both clubs are in the National League now, but apparently not. Cheltenham are at home to Bromley on Saturday 30th, so our game is scheduled for the Sunday.

I see we are away first and last match.

Compared to last season where we started (Barrow) and finished (Leamington) at home?
