A good few years ago I purchased the only replica shirts I ever owned - from the Club shop in town. I think it was over the Christmas / New Year period and they were selling off the amber and black stripe kit and the red 'Portugal' one really cheap. I think Ferret may have also been in the shop that day.
Anyway, they remain in their respective packaging. I'm not overly keen on wearing footy shirts unless I'm actually playing (and those days are gone) as I don't find them that comfortable - and it's usually too cold for most of the season ! One thing I have noticed though is that more often than not nowadays, the kits are designed for a more 'fitted' appearance. This can mean the average fan looking a little more 'stocky' or having to upgrade to the size above
