Signs for Maidenhead in Conference South.

Big loss in my opinion.

Looks like travelling got too much in the end.

Good luck Rene.   So that's another position we need to fill.

Good luck rene. Massive blow but predicable given how far he travels. Gonna be tough to replace him that's for sure.

One of those things that was going to happen at some point... on the positive, it's happened now and not in August.

Big loss, but Den has a proven track record of - eventually - getting the right players in, so let's assume he's already working on it. He's probably known Steer's off for a while, which is good because decent players in that position are notoriously hard to find, such that getting a good player in there can make all the difference. Now that Newsh's contract is off the books, we should have the budget to get someone above average in, no?

Yes should hopefully free up some room for few signings. Need a keeper, left back, left winger and a striker. I'm sure den will be busy shopping.

Let's hope he does his shopping at M and S and not Aldis.
The last couple of seasons we haven't had a settled in good team until around Xmas. It would be nice to start the season with those ingredients so we don't waste those first 3 or 4 months.
Real shame we lost Rene, he was a good asset. Wish him well for the future.

Sad loss, one of the best left backs I've seen down the lane for many a year.
Good luck Rene at your new club, will miss you down the lane.

A big loss, but understandable given the travelling. Good luck Rene. I think you'll need it with Ashley Timms in goal behind you!

I think we are in a position currently to pick and choose. We have the majority of an excellent squad.

I've heard that Den is looking at both Ben Chapman and Austin McCann.
