Have a safe journey all you fellow Pilgrims Supporters and make sure you are in fine voice as usual cheering on the lads to a good result for the 2nd leg.

Hopefully 300+ will make the trip to Chorley. This just shows the potential of Boston United.

Good Luck Lads

Up The Pilgrims  ;D

Here Here, if and when we get past Chorley the grand old lady deserves one last swan song (no not that one!)
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Everyone would have settled for that before the game and what an atmosphere there is going to be. Taking nothing for granted at all but we are surely favourites... Whatever that means.  What sort if a crowd I wonder, 3000+?

Time wasting !!  Where did he get that from. I think Boston were the slightly better side. All Chorley players had in their arsenal was the long high ball for their tall guys, mind you when you look at the terrible pitch surface I suppose playing proper football is tough.
I think there was one thing that described Chorleys game and that was the way a HUGE number of their supporters were streaming out of the ground with 10minutes remaining of the game, they were clearly very miffed with their team.
As for the Boston reaction at the end of the game, well that's what you call passion for the team, the club and the desire to win. Their support couldn't wait to get out of the ground. At Boston you will get that passionate reaction wether we win or lose.
Difficult to predict Saturday's outcome because strange things can happen in football.
Come on Boston.

People have different views on the same game...

I thought Boston came for the draw on our god awful pitch and that's what you got. You did have the better of the chances, the free kick being one and then the effort blasted over the goal from 5 yards out. The attendance of 2,022 was a superb turn out for a Wednesday night fixture and full credit to the fans that made the journey. I do sympathise for those who got stuck on the M62, but you didn't miss much.

Hopefully a healthy following of Magpies on Saturday and plenty of singing from the travelling crowd. If last night is anything to go by, it'll be decided on penalties.

Came for the draw? Is that why we played our 2 best strikers and 2 proper wingers?

I fail to remember any chances that you had, except where our keeper mis-kicked. Everything you did was lumped up towards Dean, and either Mills or Piergianni either won the header or the second ball.

Nothing to fear. If our players are given the same chances, penalties won't be required!

I wonder what would have happened if the team bus was caught in the traffic? Might have to have put both legs back 24 hours.
