Gloucester unbeaten in 7 and are flying at the moment - pressure will be off them.

B Grimes, as you've answered your own question then that's that ! Pre season we probably would have seen getting to the play offs as a real bonus. Now we've been on a run and made it, talk will naturally turn to who we might fancy out of those in the mix.

But what do I know ? I said season over a couple of months ago  :)

I would prefer Chorley over Guiseley. Even though we beat Guiseley 5-1, they are a better team now than they were then. Plus our record there is poor, and we lost against them at the same stage in 2011.

Saying that it's all about form in the play offs, and if we can hammer Leamington that will set us up nicely, especially if we can keep finding the net at home as often as we have this season.

^ This,  I've been pondering the home/away first leg thing.  As long as we avoid the Flyde/Barrow fall out away midweek I don't think it matters.

I wouldn't want to be Barrow or Flyde having to make the long trip south here straight after the season end, knowing our home record and support.

Likewise if you're Chorley or Guiseley (esspecially the later) then you wouldn't want to leave yourself needed to come to York Street needing anything other than to cling on if we held the second leg.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

As we cannot finish above Barrow/Fylde, we cannot play them away midweek in the 1st leg. The higher-placed team gets the home game 2nd.

Wed 29th
5th v Barrow/Fylde
4th v 3rd

Sat 2nd
Barrow/Fylde v 5th
3rd v 4th

Bit worried by the talk of Dayle being struggling with a hernia.

Wouldn't want him to be missing the playoff games.
