I'm going to Stalybridge today.

Sadly it's on a bloody stag do and we're leaving there at 1pm to get the train to Leeds

I might have to get "lost" for a few hours....

TEP,

keep me updated via WhattsApp please. For me it's all about the Grand National today, a few glasses of wine and spending the day with a sexy filly  :P

Tamworth close the gap to 2 points.....

I say that's still 2 points they need to find in the same amount of games as us

With better goal diff 4 points from last two games will definitely be enough.

Tamworth play top of league Barrow next Saturday which will be tough for Tamworth. If Tamworth don't collect three points v Barrow then with out superior goal difference we will be in top 5 regardless of what we do in our last 2 games.

If we lose our last 2 games Tamworth only need to win one of their last two to over take us and Oxford can also overtake us if they win their last two. To be sure of reaching the play offs we still need 4 more points.

Agreed - and I'm still not sure how we didn't win the game today. 1-0 is never enough, of course, and with the wind at their backs in the second half Stalybridge did have more of the play. Bringing on 3 subs at once doesn't always work, but they were much more dangerous after they did early in the second half. Having said that, Max wasn't really troubled all day and didn't have much of a chance with their goal. I was talking to a home fan during the last few minutes - and he was telling me that he goes to all their home and away games and hadn't seen any team dominate them as much and create as many chances as we did in the first half today.

I'm sure someone will know, but with Piergianni's booking in the last minute today, has he reached the number of bookings which will mean he's going to be suspended now? If he has will it be served before the play-offs? Is there, though, any bookings amnesty in our league during the last few games of the season?

I thought they were cleared after a certain date? I was once told by a club official.

Other options to above .....
Next  Saturday its Guiseley v Chorley  ,  if we obtain 6 points from the last two games it leaves the following  possible outcomes .

If the above game is drawn and both teams win there remaining games it means Boston , Chorley and Guiseley all finish on 74 points and there is only one goal goal diff between all three  teams at the moment .

If Guiseley win and both teams win the remaining matches it will mean them finishing on 76 points , Boston 74 and Chorley 73 .

If Chorley win it will finish Chorley 76 , Boston 74  and Guiseley 73 .
