Another 3 points dropped by Chorley last night........

....and they've got Fylde on Saturday.

Unfortunately Guiseley got all three.  Looking more likely that we've got to try and nick a place from Hendesford or Tamworth who need to play each other yet and seem to have tougher run-in than us.

It's still in our hands, no good relying on other teams.

..then Stockport away after that. They have a 'break' at Leamington, followed by games against Tamworth, Guiseley, North Ferriby and Barrow!

If you look at this table - http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/conference-north/2014-2015/versus-top-half - you can see who has how many games to play against the current top half.

...but it's not in our hands?  We could win every game and not make the playoffs?

If we do make the Play Offs, we should do well... based on results against the top 8 team so far

We're also the only team in the division not to lose a team in the bottom 8!

If Boston win all remaining games they should finish in at least 5th place as there are lots of clashes between the top 9 teams and points will be dropped elsewhere.  However, it is an awful lot to ask any team to win every one of the final 8 games.

In this scenario it would be likely Hednesford and Chorley to miss out, with Barrow, Fylde, Guiseley and Tamworth making up the other top 5.

We'd better start saving now - if we end up going to Tamworth in the play-offs they could charge us anything for admission! Their pricing policies are a disgrace to non-league football and they don't deserve success. (And let's not even mention them charging away team buses to park at the ground). It'd be brilliant if Boston made the play-offs and if Tamworth were the side to drop out then even better.
