NFL is massively on the increase, participation and attendance. Only one of the International series games didn't sell out (and that was a tiny amount off) so that is 11 games since 2007 with last year three within a matter of weeks. This year three again, all sold out months in advance, with two games in consecutive weeks.
There will be a UK team (I'm not saying franchise!) in the next 5 years, the reason. Simple, money. It's a massive market and London is perfect to tap into Europe not just the UK.
Like all sports, regardless of where they originate, some like and some don't and sometimes for the same reasons! American colleagues of mine say the don't like cricket because its complicated and takes too long. The same reason they love Baseball
